Guitars

October 18th, 2010

What can I say, I’m a tone chaser.  I love learning about which woods and electronics lend themselves to which styles of music.  Here are a few of the guitars that have aided me in my quest over the years.  While a number have moved on to other players hands, many reside in my arsenal today and remain my constant companions in my quest for those elusive sounds I hear in my head.  Enjoy!

I’ve owned many PRS over the years. Started with a ’96 Custom 24, then an Archtop II, Archtop Spruce, McCarty Rosewood, McCarty Soapbar, and McCarty IRW Soapbar. All were great guitars and I very well may own another PRS some day. I particularly loved the 10th anniversary model with the ebony fingerboard. Also love the original Modern Eagle and the current production DGT….awesome guitars.
